Carlos Fulgencio

Carlos Fulgencio is a Real Estate Development Associate at The Resurrection Project (TRP), where he supports the creation and preservation of affordable housing across Chicago.

In his role, he collaborates with city partners, contractors, and community stakeholders to advance equitable development that reflects the needs and aspirations of local residents.

A first-generation college graduate born in Huandacareo, Michoacán, and raised in Chicago, Carlos brings both lived experience and technical expertise to his work. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy (MUPP) at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he focuses on housing, urban policy, and community development.

Carlos is driven by a commitment to expand access to opportunity through inclusive planning and leadership at both the local and state levels.
