Jazmin Juarez
A proud daughter of Chicago, Jazmin Juarez is passionate about strengthening communities and building trust in public institutions. She works to position Chicago as a global model for safety, inclusion, and responsive governance.
Jazmin is a Project Strategy Manager with the Chicago Police Department’s Office of Constitutional Policing and Reform, where she manages use of force reforms and efforts to modernize data systems under the federal consent decree to strengthen government accountability and operational performance.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Erie Neighborhood House and the Associate Boards of the Chicago Public Library Foundation and La Casa Norte to better understand the city’s evolving needs across education, immigration, housing, and community development. Jazmin is a Chicago Leadership Circle Fellow in the 2026 cohort and a Board Leadership Institute Autumn 2024 Fellow.
Jazmin holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Latino Studies with minors in Chinese, Global Asian Studies, and International Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has studied abroad and participated in policy treks in China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Israel-Palestine, Japan, and Mexico, experiences that broadened her understanding of leadership in diverse communities and deepened her insight into how societies worldwide navigate trust, safety, and modernization; perspectives Jazmin now brings to her work and civic engagements to ensure that Chicago, a world-class city, remains a place where residents and visitors feel safe, respected, and represented.
