Jessica Amaya
Jessica Amaya is the proud middle daughter of two immigrants and a lifelong Chicagoan who brings personality to everything she does.
A Northwestern-trained mechanical engineer, she kicked off her career building jet engines on the East Coast before running back home to Chicago to blend her love for problem-solving with her commitment to community.
Jessica has poured years into mentorship through programs like Chicago Scholars and HFS, helping young people chase big goals and push through life’s challenges. Now, she’s setting her sights on community leadership with a dream of launching her own nonprofit to expand opportunities for underrepresented communities.
Outside of work, Jessica lives in a historic bungalow she’s been lovingly restoring with her dad. She’s a proud dog mom to Leo, an energetic mutt with a big personality. She is halfway to visiting all 7 continents and has visited 39/50 states.
